Thirty years ago, Natalie Wood, an Oscar-nominated American actress, disappeared from a yacht during an excursion with husband, actor Robert Wagner and actor Christopher Walken.  The original investigation concluded that Wood accidentally drowned when she fell into the icy waters off of Santa Catalina Island, on Thanksgiving weekend in 1981.

Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department recently reopened the investigation into the death of the actress.  Sheriff’s officials have stated that they have new information about the 1981 case and homicide detectives are taking another look, but officials have declined to provide any details about the new information.

Conflicting versions of what happened on the yacht that night have contributed to years of speculation about the circumstances surronding Wood’s death.  Was it a tragic accident or is there more to this mystery?
